Santa Claus has been cleared to enter Canadian airspace
The Christmas miracle has been state-certified.
In Canada, absolutely everyone must obey the laws, even Santa Claus. For this purpose, the Ministry of Transportation has given Grandpa and all his nine reindeer permission to enter the airspace of the state.
Minister Pablo Rodriguez said Santa Claus went through a "strict" certification and vetting process, and that he personally reviewed all of Santa's paperwork and double checked it before giving full authorization.
"I'm delighted to fulfill the important task of clearing Santa and his crew for travel in Canadian airspace in my new role as Minister of Transport. We will be working around the clock to guarantee Santa and his reindeer have a safe and jolly trip across our country," Rodriguez said in a press release.
Inspectors from Transport Canada traveled to the North Pole to make sure Santa's sleigh has zero emissions and the safety system is in order. They also checked the volume of the jingle bells and confirmed that Rudolph's nose was operating at "maximum brightness".
You can track Santa and his reindeer on the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) website on December 24. This year will be the 68th year that such tracking is available to everyone.
