Toronto will host a naked bike ride

In this way, participants protest against environmental pollution.

The Goal Bike Ride is two-in-one: a liberal ride and a global protest, taking place in cities around the world and bringing together like-minded people who speak out against the pollution caused by cars and for safer bike streets and body freedom for all.

This year's race will take place on June 12, in Toronto. Racers will gather at noon at Fort York Lake Park.

The race, which starts at 1:00 p.m., will run through downtown, Yonge Dundas Square, Trinity Bellwoods Park, the University of Toronto and Kensington Market. The official finish line is the Jack Leighton Memorial Ferry Station, from where some riders can take the ferry to Hanlan Beach unclothed if they wish.

This year, however, participants will not paint themselves before the ride as they have done in the past. There will also be social distancing measures, although this should not be a hindrance for most participants on bicycles, rollerblades and skateboards.
