Jordan Peterson, the author of world-renowned books and YouTube videos, will host his book tour at Ottawa's largest indoor stadium on Monday, Jan. 30, 2023.

Professor Peterson is known not only in Canada, but worldwide for a series of scandalous videos and books. In his writings, the author openly opposes gender-neutral pronouns and the bill banning discrimination against people on the basis of gender identity.

The psychologist and former lecturer from the University of Toronto is also known for his research in psychology, the philosophy of personality and the formation of consciousness. His works are of great interest to viewers: more than 600 million views on YouTube.

In the American media, Jordan Peterson has been called Canada's most influential thinker and intellectual. He proves in his lectures and books that there are only two genders, talks about the real roles of men and women, opposes transgender people and same-sex marriage, does not support women's careerism and full gender equality.

As part of a book tour of Canada, Peterson will visit London on January 31 and Hamilton on February 1. If you're in one of these cities, it's worth a visit to this event.

In Ottawa, the meeting with the writer will be held at the Canadian Tire Centre, Ottawa. It is an indoor stadium with more than 400 seats. Ticket prices range from simple back-row tickets to special seats for visitors with disabilities and VIP seats. The best place to buy tickets is here. Price ranges from $50 CAD to $426 CAD.

The author has three books:

  1. "Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief" from 1999 tells the story of the formation of the meaning of life in the human mind.
  2. "12 Rules for Life: The Antidote to Chaos" of 2018 topped bestsellers in Canada, the United States and Australia. About 6 million copies were sold.
  3. "12 Rules for Life: On the Other Side of Order" 2021 was also a bestseller. Here the author describes a unique technique for formulating your own thoughts to solve life's problems, using a scientific approach. More than 4 million copies have gone out since publication.

Last summer, Peterson was blocked on Twitter. He posted a tweet that was seen as inciting hatred of transgender Canadian actor Eliot Paige. New Twitter owner Elon Musk reinstated Peterson's account last month.
