In Canada, the best way to get back at your former boss is to get a better job.

The hashtag #RageApplying and the trend of the same name are gaining popularity on Canadian social media. It boils down to the fact that if an employer treats Canadians poorly, they start aggressively sending resumes to other jobs.

Because of the constantly growing job market it is easy to find a job in Canada: as a rule, it is enough to send out your resume 10-15 times. Amanda, an Ottawa resident, started the trend on social media. She did not like the way she was treated in the workplace. The angry woman sent out her resume for a week and ended up moving to a similar position, but she was paid $25,000 CAD more.

Inspired by her success, Canadians followed suit. It turned out that it was possible to find a new job in 3-10 days. Often employers try to attract workers with high salaries and various bonuses. There is a real battle for qualified specialists in Canada.

This is very good news for Canadian citizens and immigrants who have a work permit. But employers themselves are horrified: not only are specialists hard to find, they also change jobs at the slightest discontent. They have to look for immigrant employees, even for prestigious and well-paid positions.

For example, the sportswear brand Lululemon has already announced that it intends to hire 2,600 foreigners for the positions of programmers, top managers and designers.
