The Canadian province removes all restrictions

The province of Nova Scotia is on track to lift all COVID-19-related epidemiological restrictions by March 21, 2022 — two years after the province imposed a state of emergency to contain the pandemic.
The news was announced by Provincial Premier Tim Houston on February 23. He also thanked Nova Scotia's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Robert Strang, and all the medical staff. The restrictions will be lifted in three stages.
As of February 28, the province will no longer require proof of vaccination for visits to gyms, restaurants, sports centers and events. The vaccination requirement will remain in place for some time for visits to hospitals and nursing homes, as these are institutions with an increased risk of infection.
On March 7, restaurants, bars, financial institutions and movie theaters will be allowed to operate at 75% of capacity. The same requirements will apply to events, competitions, religious gatherings and meetings. Informal gatherings will be limited to 25 people indoors and 50 outdoors. In catering establishments, movies, concerts, and sporting events, it will be allowed to take off your mask to eat and drink. Masks in schools will remain in effect until the end of the March break.
At this point, people who test positive for COVID-19 will still be required to self-isolate, but will not have to notify local health authorities of recent close contacts.
