Where does Canada rank in the global vaccination ranking?
Despite supply difficulties, the country has vaccinated more people than Sweden, Austria, Switzerland and Norway.
On 20 March 2021, Bloomberg updated its global COVID-19 tracker, which tracks various vaccination statistics in 133 countries. In a ranking based on total doses administered, Canada ranks 21st in the world with a total of 3,840,298 doses given.
This means that 6.1% of the population received their first dose of vaccine and 1.7% were fully vaccinated against the new virus.
That puts Canada ahead of countries like Sweden, Austria, Switzerland and Norway, but behind the US, the UK, China and India.
