About Immigrant.Today

Immigrant.Today is your path to Canada, from useful, exclusive info materials to processing and applying for your visa.

Our project is for people who want to move to Canada to change their lives for the better: to find stability, to live in a safe country, to earn a decent wage, to be confident in the future of their children.

We are sharing information about life and opportunities in Canada. For those who have decided to move, we help them prepare and submit their documents. We also publish useful information for those who have already immigrated and are starting a new life in an unfamiliar country.

Immigrant.Today started in 2015 as an information portal and has grown into an expert consulting agency. Our team has developed and optimized various ways and strategies for immigration to Canada.

Below we will tell you the story of how the project was created.

Moving with family

Alex Pavlenko, the founder of the portal, and his family had a difficult journey before coming to Canada. First, the family moved to Kyiv from a small Ukrainian town, then to Poland under a business immigration program, and only after that to Canada. The process of immigration to Canada took more than 5 years. This path could be shorter, but about that later.

Wish to help other immigrants and creation of an information portal

In 2015 Alex started the Immigrant.Today project. It started with a selection of YouTube channels on emigration and their transcribing (text versions of videos). There was a great desire to share experiences and tips on how to organize a move and adapt to a new place. Alex was truthful and accessible about the seemingly complicated immigration process and how to make it easier.

Later subscribers of the channel — those who were interested in moving to Canada — began to ask a lot of questions that required more careful consideration, analysis of information, and searching for new options.

And so out of a sincere desire to help our subscribers, we started to post exclusive expert materials on how to get a visa to Canada, which program is easier to immigrate, how to find your first job in the new country, and much more. In addition, a newsfeed and feature articles about life in immigration and adaptation appeared.

Obtaining the status of a licensed immigration consultant, starting a company

Seeing a keen interest from subscribers in moving to Canada and a need for individual consultations — what strategy to choose to move, what immigration programs are appropriate, how to improve the chances of getting a visa, etc. — Alex's wife, Ivanna Pavlenko, became a Canadian regulated immigration consultant. She has personally conducted more than 1,000 consultations to date and is helping people realize their dream of moving to Canada.

If you have questions about emigrating or getting a visa, book a consultation with her.

Studying, developing, and optimizing immigration ways to Canada, developing strategies for different cases

Over several years, Immigrant.Today has accumulated various unique cases. We have helped clients move to Canada through many different programs. This includes provincial programs for trades workers, federal programs for highly skilled specialists, relocation through education with poor English skills, and immigration for entrepreneurs through starting a business. We practically worked out the schemes of moving in different ways, so that in the end the whole family received permanent residency in Canada.

Now we don't just provide useful materials, but also turnkey services

After consultations, our clients began to ask about services for preparing and submitting documents, for organizing the whole process. That's how we started to provide turnkey services.

Today, our team has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the document preparation and submission process. The nuances can be crucial in the consideration of your visa application.

We've already helped 1,000+ clients and are ready to help you if you are in the mood to move.
