Employers from Quebec will conduct job interviews in Paris

Applications will be accepted through October 19, and participation is free for candidates.

On November 13 and 14, 2026, the #QuébecRecrute en France recruitment mission will take place in Paris. Employers from Quebec will conduct in-person interviews with candidates located in France, other Schengen Area countries, or France’s overseas territories. Applications are being accepted until October 19, 2026, and participation is free for candidates.

The mission is organized by three economic development agencies: Montréal International, Québec International, and Drummond économique. Therefore, the job openings are primarily located in Greater Montréal, the Québec City region, and Drummondville. More than 100 job openings have been posted on the Québec en tête platform, and in a press release dated September 3, 2026, the organizers mention more than 150 job openings and approximately thirty employers.

What Kinds of Professionals Are They Looking For?

The job openings are categorized into eight fields: shipbuilding and the maritime industry, information technology, the hospitality and food service industries, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, construction (including transportation and equipment), healthcare, and management positions.

Among the listed employers are the construction companies Pomerleau and VINCI. They are looking for construction project managers, cost estimators, quality coordinators, schedulers, and occupational safety specialists.

How the selection process works

Applications will be accepted from August 17 through October 19, 2026. Candidates create a profile on the Québec en tête platform and apply for suitable job openings. Employers review resumes themselves, and only selected candidates will receive invitations to interviews by October 27, 2026.

Interviews are held in person in Paris. The organizers host webinars in September and October on working and studying in Quebec, and at the event itself, candidates can consult with immigration lawyers.

At the same time, there is a separate track for those who want to pursue their education: educational institutions in Quebec will present approximately 50 vocational, technical, and university programs.

Who is this for?

This program is designed for those who live in France or another country in the Schengen Area. For Russian-speaking readers who have already moved to Europe, this is an opportunity to interview with a Canadian employer without having to travel to Canada. The primary language of the workplace in Quebec is French, so candidates who speak it have a better chance.

A job offer from a Quebec employer can serve as the basis for a work permit, and work experience in Quebec can then help when applying for permanent residency through the province’s immigration programs. Québec International specifically mentions the International Experience Canada youth mobility programs. For more information on these programs, see the article “The Canadian Equivalent of the Work and Travel Program.”
