New Brunswick is holding five recruitment events in October

Two events will take place in the United Kingdom, and three in Toronto and Montreal. Here’s who they’re looking for and how to register.

New Brunswick has released its recruitment event calendar for October 2026: two events will take place in the United Kingdom and three in Canada. At each event, you can speak directly with employers from the province, and at some events, you can speak directly with representatives from New Brunswick’s immigration office about pathways to permanent residence.

United Kingdom: Construction Workers and Doctors

London Job Show, October 16–17, London. The Province is bringing employers from the construction industry. The registration form lists seven occupations:

You can also specify another profession—the form includes a field labeled “Other NOCs.” You’ll need to register twice: on the New Brunswick portal and separately on the Westfield job fair’s portal. After registering, you’ll receive an email with a QR code, which you’ll need to bring to the event. Some candidates are invited to an interview in advance, while the rest are interviewed right at the venue.

Healthdaq Healthcare Event, October 17–24, Glasgow, Manchester, and London. An event for doctors. As of this writing, registration has not yet opened—the province promises to open it soon.

Canada: Healthcare Professionals, Educators, and a Multisectoral Trade Fair

Clinical Careers Expo, October 3, Toronto. An expo for licensed healthcare professionals: physicians and residents, nurses of various categories, as well as thirteen regulated allied health professions—physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, psychologists, and others. Admission is free, but registration is subject to screening: organizers verify professional registration in Canada.

Information Session on Education and Early Childhood Education, October 13, Montreal. New Brunswick school districts and early childhood development centers are hiring staff for the school year. The form lists the following:

Teaching assistants and custodians are being recruited separately. Important restriction: This session is open only to those who are already in Canada and have a work permit. It begins at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Multisector Job Fair, October 14–15, Montreal. Part of the city’s job fair: a general exhibition area and a separate space dedicated to technology and engineering. Admission is free; there are no restrictions based on profession.

Why attend events like these?

Job fairs and recruitment missions are one of the few ways to receive a job offer from a Canadian employer without being in the country. And a job offer is a mandatory requirement for most streams of provincial programs, including nearly all of New Brunswick’s streams.

Prepare in advance: adapt your resume to the Canadian format, check whether your profession is included in the event’s list, and find out if your qualifications are recognized in the province. For more details, see our guide to working in Canada.

Not sure if your profile is a good fit for events in New Brunswick, or what to do after the trade show? Sign up for a consultation—we’ll review your situation and develop a plan.

The province updates the calendar regularly, so the list may grow by the end of the year—no virtual events are currently scheduled.
