Who Can Apply
Only candidates who received an invitation on April 30, 2026 can apply. The draw included profiles that were created and confirmed before April 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
The application process includes two steps:
- the employer must review the requirements for employers and submit an application through the Employer Portal within 14 calendar days;
- the candidate must log into the OINP e-Filing Portal, open the file with the JOXX prefix, and submit a paid application within 17 calendar days from the invitation date.
Starting July 2, 2025, all job approval applications are submitted only through the Employer Portal. Only candidates whose employers have submitted a job offer through the system and whose EOI profiles are successfully registered will be considered.
Compared to the previous GTA draw on March 25, 2026, which issued 431 invitations with a minimum score of 61 (Foreign Worker) and 90 (International Student), this new round was significantly larger: 997 invitations with noticeably lower minimum scores. This may indicate the province's intention to maximize its quota before the expected reform of the OINP program.
