Who Can Apply

Only candidates who received an invitation on April 15, 2026 can apply. The draw included profiles that were created and confirmed before April 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

The application process involves two steps:

  • the employer must review the employer requirements and submit an application through the Employer Portal within 14 calendar days;
  • the candidate must submit their own application and payment through the OINP e-Filing Portal within 17 calendar days from the invitation date.
Starting July 2, 2025, all job approval applications must be submitted through the Employer Portal only. Only candidates whose employers have submitted an offer through the system and whose EOI profiles are successfully registered will be considered.

The previous In-Demand Skills stream draw took place on April 8, 2026 and targeted French-speaking candidates and REDI initiative participants. This new round shows that Ontario continues to conduct targeted draws based on labour market needs, including agriculture, logistics, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
