Only candidates who received an invitation on April 1, 2026, can apply. The draw included profiles that were created and confirmed before March 30, 2026.
The application process involves two steps:
- the employer must review the employer requirements and submit an application through the Employer Portal within 14 calendar days;
- the candidate must submit their own application and payment through the OINP e-Filing Portal within 17 calendar days from the invitation date.
As of July 2, 2025, all job approval applications are submitted only through the Employer Portal. Only candidates whose employers have processed their offer through the system and whose EOI profiles are successfully registered will be considered.
This new round shows that Ontario continues to conduct targeted draws based on economic needs. This time, the province focused on specialists related to the mining industry and industrial infrastructure.
