New Express Entry draw for candidates with Canadian work experience

The passing score increased slightly, and the number of invitations decreased.

On March 31, 2026, the Canadian government held a new Express Entry draw for candidates with Canadian work experience under the Canadian Experience Class category.

2,250 people received invitations to apply for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 509. Compared to the previous draw, the requirements increased slightly.

For comparison, in the previous draw on March 17, 2026, the minimum score was 507, and 4,000 people received invitations. This means the cut-off score went up by 2 points, while the number of invitations dropped significantly.
