Prince Edward Island conducted two immigration selections in December
A total of 179 invitations were issued to specialists and graduates of local universities.
In December, Prince Edward Island held two immigration draws under its provincial program PEI PNP. On December 15, 166 invitations were sent to potential immigrants, and on December 23, another 13 invitations were issued.
All invitations went to candidates in demand in the labor market. According to provincial authorities, the invitations were sent to candidates working in priority occupations and economic sectors that have a significant impact on Prince Edward Island's development.
On December 15, priority was given to candidates working for an employer in the province, as well as international graduates from the University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College, and College de l'Ile. The December 23 draw was also focused on candidates working in priority occupations and economic sectors in the region.
The following applicant categories participated in the draws:
- candidates registered in the Express Entry system;
- labor stream applicants, including:
This time, the business stream didn't participate—invitations were only issued through the labor stream and Express Entry.
The previous provincial draw took place on November 20, 2025—190 invitations were sent at that time.
