Prince Edward Island has published the immigration draw schedule for 2026
The province has scheduled 12 drawings throughout the year.
The immigration office of Prince Edward Island has released the schedule for immigration draws in 2026. Throughout the year, the region has planned 12 Expression of Interest (EOI) draws under its provincial immigration system.
The draws will take place on the following dates:
- January 15;
- February 19;
- March 19;
- April 16;
- May 21;
- June 18;
- July 16;
- August 20;
- September 17;
- October 15;
- November 19;
- December 17.
Provincial authorities note that this schedule is for informational purposes only and doesn't guarantee a draw will happen on each listed date. A draw may occur earlier or later, and sometimes more than one draw per month is possible. In 2025, for example, the province held three unscheduled draws that didn't match the published timeline.
For those planning to immigrate through PEI PNP, it's important to know that an EOI profile remains active in the provincial system for 6 months from the date of submission. If your profile expires, you'll need to create a new one to stay in the candidate pool. It's also recommended to submit your EOI profile as soon as you meet the requirements of your chosen stream.
The number of invitations and candidate categories may vary from draw to draw. Decisions depend on the province's nomination quota for 2026, labor market needs, as well as priority sectors and occupations.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program includes several streams. In addition to the business stream, there are programs for workers, including candidates registered in the Express Entry system.
There are other ways to get permanent residence in this island province, such as the Atlantic Immigration Program.
