The university has launched a new support program for international students and is ready to cover part of the tuition costs for undergraduate studies.
University of Windsor in Ontario has launched the Global Lancer Scholarship program for international students applying for undergraduate programs. The scholarship covers up to 20% of tuition costs and is awarded for four years, making studying in Canada significantly more affordable.
Scholarship Requirements
The scholarship amount depends on your high school GPA and is calculated for the entire study period:
- 95% and above — $24,000 CAD
- 90 — 94.99% — $20,000 CAD
- 80 — 89.99% — $10,000 CAD
- Below 80% — $4,000 CAD
Applicants don't need to submit a separate application. If you're applying directly from high school and meet the requirements, the university will automatically award the appropriate amount.
How to Keep Your Scholarship
The Global Lancer Scholarship is renewable. To renew it for the next year, you need to study full-time, maintain a minimum GPA of 70%, and meet the university's academic requirements. If you meet all these conditions, the scholarship remains active throughout your entire undergraduate program.
