A new selection of candidates with provincial nomination took place in Canada
The passing score decreased and the number of invitations more than doubled.
On November 10, 2025, the Canadian government held a new Express Entry draw for candidates with a provincial nomination. This time, 714 people received invitations to apply for permanent residence.
The minimum passing score on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) was 738. For comparison, in the previous draw on October 27, the minimum score was 761, and 302 candidates received invitations. So the passing score dropped while the number of invitations more than doubled.
Candidates who receive a provincial nomination automatically get an additional 600 CRS points. This means that in this draw, you only needed 138 points from the main factors: age, education, English or French language skills, work experience, and adaptability in Canada.

The draw results show positive trends for candidates with provincial nominations and may indicate adjustments to quotas or changes in Canada's immigration plan.
How provincial immigration programs work

- create a profile in the Express Entry system;
