Online French language courses for immigration to Canada from ILAC
The program includes general French and TEF exam preparation with the option to study from anywhere in the world.
Learning French opens doors to immigration, education, and career opportunities in Canada. Canadian language school ILAC, together with Atpal language center, has launched the ILAC French Kiss online program for learning French.
This course is perfect for those planning to immigrate to Canada through federal or provincial programs, looking to boost their competitiveness in the job market, or preparing to apply to a Canadian college or university. You can study from anywhere in the world.
Why Learn French for Canada
French is a major advantage for anyone seeking permanent residence in Canada. Knowing the country's second official language adds points to your Express Entry profile and gives you access to specific immigration programs in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, and New Brunswick.
Knowing both English and French expands your job options, especially in government and international companies. Bilingual professionals are in higher demand and have better career prospects.
The online format lets you learn at your own pace and fit classes around your work or studies. No matter what time zone you're in, you can organize your learning to match your schedule.
How the Online French Learning System Works
ILAC offers two tracks: general French and TEF exam preparation, which is required for immigration or Canadian citizenship.
The program covers levels from beginner (A1) to intermediate (B2) on the CEFR scale. Learning is structured in stages: A1 level includes three steps (A1.1, A1.2, A1.3) lasting 12 weeks, while A2, B1, and B2 levels consist of two steps each — 8 weeks per level. Each step runs for a minimum of 4 weeks and includes 20 lessons per week.
This step-by-step structure lets you move forward at a comfortable pace — without being overwhelmed, but without losing momentum either. Moving to the next level depends on several factors:
- attendance;
- results from progress tests;
- teacher assessment.
