Canada has once again invited 1000 candidates with work experience for permanent residence
The passing score remained virtually unchanged, confirming the high level of competition among applicants.
On October 28, Canada held a new Express Entry draw, inviting candidates with work experience under the Canadian Experience Class category.
1,000 people received invitations to apply for permanent residence. The minimum cut-off score in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) was 533. Compared to the previous draw on October 1, 2025, the threshold dropped by just 1 point, while the number of invitations remained the same. This confirms stable selection conditions and high competition among candidates.

How does the Express Entry system work?
Express Entry is an online platform through which Canada selects candidates for permanent residence under three federal programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program for skilled professionals;
- Canadian Experience Class for those who have already worked in Canada;
- Federal Skilled Trades Program for skilled trades workers.
CRS points are awarded for several factors: age, education, English or French language proficiency, work experience and Canadian experience, marital status, and adaptability.
