In September 2025, Alberta held a series of immigration selection rounds through its provincial program, inviting professionals from various fields.
In September 2025, the province of Alberta conducted a series of immigration draws under the AAIP program. Invitations were sent to candidates in the Alberta Opportunity Stream, as well as participants in the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors and Dedicated Health Care Pathway. Over 1,370 invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada were issued during the month.
September 2 Draw: Dedicated Health Care Pathway (Express Entry)

- Minimum score: 49
Candidates needed an Express Entry profile, a job offer in healthcare, and the ability to obtain a license in Alberta.
September 3 Draw: Dedicated Health Care Pathway (outside Express Entry)
- Number of invitations: 67
- Minimum score: 44
This stream targets healthcare professionals with a job offer in Alberta who meet licensing requirements.
September 4 Draw: Alberta Opportunity Stream
- Number of invitations: 891
- Minimum score: 56
This stream is for candidates already living and working in Alberta who meet education, experience, and language requirements.
September 5 Draw: Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Agriculture)
- Number of invitations: 71
- Minimum score: 48
Candidates needed an Express Entry profile and experience in agriculture.
September 8 Draw: Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction)
- Number of invitations: 121
- Minimum score: 61
This draw was for candidates with construction experience and an Express Entry profile.
September 9 Draw: Alberta Express Entry – Priority Sectors (Health Care)
- Number of invitations: 70
- Minimum score: 64
Participants needed healthcare experience, an Express Entry profile, and had to meet licensing requirements.
September 10 Draw: Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Aviation)
- Number of invitations: 30
- Minimum score: 50
This draw targeted aviation industry professionals in demand in Alberta.
