3,347 candidates received invitations under the provincial program. Most invitations were issued through the International Education stream.
On September 4, Manitoba conducted a large-scale immigration draw under its Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This time, 3,347 candidates received invitations to apply for permanent residence.
In the International Education Stream, 1,866 candidates meeting the category requirements were invited.
Additionally, 1,466 invitations were sent to candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba category, where the principal applicants were Ukrainian citizens.
The remaining invitations were issued to skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas who applied through the province's strategic initiatives. The draw included the following streams:
- Employer Services — 4 invitations;
- Francophone Community — 7 invitations;
- Regional Communities — 3 invitations;
- Ethnocultural Communities — 1 invitation.
The minimum score for this category was 844 points.
Among all invitees, 415 were registered in the federal Express Entry system, which allows for faster processing of their immigration application.
The previous draw in the province took place on August 21. At that time, 77 candidates were invited, and the minimum score was 612. This means the requirements have become stricter compared to the previous draw.
