Canada once again invites French-speaking specialists for permanent residence

French-speaking candidates received 4,500 invitations as the passing score was lowered.

On September 4, 2025, Canada held a targeted Express Entry draw for French-speaking candidates. In this round, 4,500 invitations to apply for permanent residence were issued, confirming the ongoing interest in French-speaking professionals.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 446. Compared to the previous draw on August 8, 2025, the requirements have decreased: then the minimum score was 481, and only 2,500 invitations were sent.

The current round showed a relaxation of requirements and an increase in the number of invitations, opening up additional opportunities for candidates.
