Ontario once again conducted a large-scale immigration selection under the OINP program
The province conducted a selection of candidates through various streams with job offers, covering a wide range of occupations.
On September 3, the province of Ontario conducted targeted immigration selections under the OINP program for streams with job offers.
A total of 1,893 invitations were issued. Profiles created between July 2 and September 3, 2025, were considered. The selection targeted priority occupations.
We previously covered changes to Ontario's application processing system in our video. Receiving this invitation demonstrates the successful outcome of the updated system, confirming its effectiveness and reliability after the new portal's implementation.
Important: Since July 2, 2025, all job approval applications for streams with job offers are submitted through a special portal. Only candidates whose employers have submitted offers through the portal and who have successfully registered their profiles receive invitations.
The Foreign Worker Stream issued 1,134 invitations with a minimum score of 42 and above. The International Student Stream issued 759 invitations with a minimum score of 63 and above. Compared to the previous selection, the minimum scores increased in both streams, and 517 more people were invited than before.
