Ontario conducted a large-scale selection of immigrants in healthcare and education sectors
Ontario issued 2,643 invitations through three streams of the OINP program, focusing mainly on healthcare workers and childcare providers.
On September 2, the province of Ontario conducted targeted immigration draws under the OINP provincial program for three Employer Job Offer streams.
A total of 2,643 invitations were issued. The draws focused on candidates in healthcare and education. Profiles created between July 2 and September 2, 2025, were considered, and only candidates living in Canada with a job offer from an Ontario employer were eligible.
Important: Starting July 2, 2025, all job approval applications for Employer Job Offer streams must be submitted through the Employer Portal. Invitations are only sent to candidates whose employers have submitted offers through the portal and who have successfully registered an EOI profile. If your profile is selected, both the candidate and employer receive notifications. Employers have 14 calendar days to submit a job approval application, after which the candidate submits their own application and pays the fee.
