Ontario conducted a new immigration selection under three streams

Ontario held a selection round for three streams of the Employer Job Offer program, targeting foreign workers, international students, and in-demand professionals.

On August 28, the province of Ontario conducted its latest immigration draw under its Provincial Nominee Program (OINP). Targeted draws were held for three Employer Job Offer streams on this day.

468 candidates from the expression of interest system received invitations to apply. To participate, candidates needed to have a job offer from an Ontario employer. Profiles had to be created between July 2 and August 28, 2025.

Invitations were issued for the following streams:

  • Foreign Worker stream:
    — 94 invitations for candidates in Northern Ontario, with a minimum score of 53;
    — 57 invitations under the Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI), with a minimum score of 45.
  • International Student stream:
    — 236 invitations for candidates in Northern Ontario, with a minimum score of 66;
    — 56 invitations under REDI, with a minimum score of 68.
  • In-Demand Skills stream:
    — 25 invitations under the REDI initiative, with a minimum score of 34.

The previous draw for this program took place on June 6, 2025 and was organized to correct a technical error.

Keep track of the Ontario draw history to stay informed about future immigration opportunities through provincial nomination.
