Manitoba invited 19 candidates for permanent residence
The province has conducted a new immigration selection round. The minimum passing score was 611 points.
On July 24, Manitoba held its latest immigration draw under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). 19 candidates received invitations to apply for permanent residence.
All invitations were issued to skilled workers who applied through the following streams:
Candidates were invited directly as part of the province's strategic initiatives. The draw included the following categories:
- Employer Services — 2 invitations;
- Francophone Community — 11 invitations;
- Regional Communities — 3 invitations;
- Ethnocultural Communities — 3 invitations.
The minimum score for this category was 611 points.
Among all invited candidates, 3 were registered in the federal Express Entry system, which allows for faster processing of their immigration application.
The previous draw in the province took place on July 10. At that time, 67 candidates were invited, and the minimum score was higher at 673 points.
