The priority was given to graduates with family support and specialists from targeted communities.

On June 26, Manitoba held its latest immigration draw under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). As a result, 492 candidates received invitations to apply for permanent residence.

The majority of invitations — 478 — were issued under the International Education Stream. This category includes three pathways:

This draw considered candidates who indicated support from a close relative living in Manitoba for at least one year and having Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.

The remaining 14 invitations were issued under the Skilled Workers category, which includes two streams:

In all cases, candidates were invited directly as part of the province's strategic initiative. The draw included the following areas:

  • Employer Services — 5 invitations;
  • Francophone Community — 5 invitations;
  • Regional Communities — 3 invitations;
  • Ethnocultural Communities — 1 invitation.

The minimum score for this category was 712 points.

Among all invitees, 65 individuals are registered in the federal Express Entry system, which opens the way for expedited processing of their immigration application.

The previous draw in the province took place on June 12, when only skilled workers from overseas were invited.

Keep track of the Manitoba draw history to stay informed about future rounds and immigration opportunities!
