Ontario conducted an additional immigration selection
Additional 72 invitations have been sent to candidates with job offers in the Sudbury region.
On June 6, the province of Ontario held an additional immigration draw as part of its Provincial Nominee Program (OINP). This draw was organized to correct a technical error that occurred during the series of selections on June 3.
This time, 72 candidates from the Expression of Interest system received invitations to apply. All of them had a job offer from an employer in the Sudbury region.
Only candidates who met the following criteria were eligible:
- Living in Canada at the time of receiving the invitation;
- Having at least a bachelor's degree.
Invitations were issued through the following streams:
- Foreign Worker stream — 32 candidates with a minimum score of 36;
- International Student stream — 34 candidates with a minimum score of 54;
- In-Demand Skills stream — 6 candidates with a minimum score of 32.
All invited candidates must submit their application by June 20, 2025.
The previous large-scale selection of permanent residency candidates took place on June 3.
Keep track of the Ontario draw history to stay informed about future immigration opportunities through the provincial nomination program.
