Admission scores have dropped compared to previous rounds.

On April 30, the province of Nova Scotia held its latest immigration draw, issuing 27 invitations to candidates in two business streams.

The Entrepreneur Stream issued 26 invitations. The minimum score was 84, slightly lower than in the previous draw on March 27. To participate in this stream, candidates must have business management experience, at least CAD $400,000 in capital, and be willing to invest a minimum of CAD $100,000 in a business.

The International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream, designed for those who graduated from a Nova Scotia university and started a business in the province, issued 1 invitation. The minimum score was 45, significantly lower than in the previous draw. To be eligible, candidates must be actively managing their business in Nova Scotia.

Points in the provincial system are awarded based on various factors, including education, English or French language proficiency, age, and management experience.

If you're considering moving to Nova Scotia, we recommend keeping an eye on the province's draw history to assess your chances and submit your application at the right time.
