The province has released the results of the latest April selections for candidates from priority economic sectors.

On April 29, Alberta issued 20 invitations to candidates with experience in the construction industry. The minimum passing score in the provincial assessment system was 67.

The following day, April 30, 19 specialists from the agricultural sector received invitations. The minimum passing score was 64.

All participants in the draws were required to have an active profile in the Express Entry system and qualify for one of the following federal immigration programs:

These programs evaluate candidates based on various criteria, including age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability.

The previous draw in the province was held on April 22, when technology sector specialists were the lucky recipients.

Alberta regularly conducts targeted draws to support strategically important industries. Construction and agriculture remain among the priorities for 2025. Keep an eye on the draw history to avoid missing the opportunity to move to Canada through one of the regional programs!
