Sheridan College recognizes that tuition fees can be an additional burden for international students, so they offer the Sheridan Global Advantage Award of $2,000 CAD to international applicants who enroll by September 15, 2025. This scholarship is automatically awarded to those who meet the admission criteria. Notification of the exact scholarship amount comes with the acceptance letter, and the money is immediately credited to the account.
In addition to the entrance scholarship, international students can apply for other scholarships or awards during their studies. Also, remember that many college programs include paid internship semesters, and all international students in Canada have the right to work while studying under the new Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) rules.
Campus Locations and Accommodation

The college campuses are located in three cities in Ontario.
Davis Campus — the largest of the three — is located in Brampton. This campus hosts programs in medicine, community services, engineering, and technology. The campus was named after the college's founder, William G. Davis. In addition to spaces for theoretical learning, there are also training centers for students in design technologies, healthcare, and craftsmanship.
The Hazel McCallion Campus is located in the heart of Mississauga, Canada's sixth-largest city. This bright and welcoming learning space is home to the School of Business, as well as students of architectural technology and interior design. Recently, a new building appeared on the campus — a spacious facility for sports activities.
The Trafalgar Road Campus is located in Oakville. It combines arts, technology, and humanities, creating a unique atmosphere of diversity and academic aspirations. This campus will especially delight those seeking cultural enrichment — it houses the Sheridan Theatre, where students stage their plays and performances, as well as an art gallery featuring exhibitions of works created by students from the Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design.
Sheridan College students can choose to live in one of three residences. Two are located on the Trafalgar Road Campus and one on the Davis Campus. When possible, students from the Hazel McCallion Campus in Mississauga can also choose to live in the Davis residence. Convenient public transportation routes run between all three campuses.
Student Life

Admission Requirements
To enroll in certificate, diploma, and bachelor's programs, applicants need a high school diploma. For post-graduate certificate programs, a completed undergraduate degree is required.
Depending on the specific program, there may be additional requirements such as a portfolio, a certain GPA, or experience in specific subjects.
International students must be proficient in English, demonstrating skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This can be proven through international English language test results. The minimum IELTS score for admission to Sheridan is 6.0 for certificate and diploma programs (with no band below 5.5) and 6.5 for bachelor's and post-graduate certificate programs (with no band below 6.0). The college also accepts results from tests such as Cambridge, Duolingo, PTE Academic, and TOEFL.
An alternative for those who don't want to take a language exam is a preparatory English course for college admission. For example, many applicants choose the Academic Pathway course at the Canadian language school ILAC.
