U.S. President pays a visit to Canada

Joe Biden met to Justin Trudeau and addressed the Canadian Parliament.

On March 24, U.S. President Joe Biden flew to Ottawa for a meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The politicians arrived at the House of Commons to discuss global issues. Biden and Trudeau denounced authoritarian regimes and reaffirmed their intention to continue helping Ukraine; in particular, to continue imposing economic sanctions on Russia.

State representatives also adopted an agreement on refugees. Trudeau had previously asked for America's help controlling illegal immigration. Both countries will focus on promoting legal ways of immigration.

They also discussed the economic consequences of the bankruptcies of several major U.S. banks, the importance of green economy and cooperation on global climate change. The countries agreed to reduce supply chain disruptions and try to move faster toward clean energy use.

The president's visit confirmed the strong ties that exist between Canada and the United States.

"It's a personal bond," Biden said about the relationship between the countries. — "No two peoples on Earth are so closely linked — by friendship, family, commerce and culture."
