June Ontario selections

June Ontario selections

Only Francophones were invited to immigrate.

On June 9, 2022, the province of Ontario sent out 153 invitations to apply for the nomination. It gives 600 extra points in the Express Entry system. This means an almost complete guarantee of receiving a PML.

Candidates who are registered in the Express Entry system and have a good knowledge of both official languages of Canada were selected. There is a special immigration stream for such people francophone professionals.

To be eligible to apply under this stream, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • have an active Express Entry profile and meet the criteria for one of the federal programs — either for skilled professionals or for experienced professionals in Canada;
  • have a higher education;
  • pass French at least level 7 on the CLB scale and English at least level 6 on the CLB scale.

The minimum passing score on the Comprehensive Ranking System for this selection was quite high — it was 481. In the previous Francophone selection, which took place April 28, 2022, a score of 460 was sufficient.

Specialists of specific professions were invited:

On June 21, the province invited 356 people eligible to participate in the francophone stream. The minimum score on the Comprehensive Ranking System was 440.

This time the province needed more different specialists. Invitations were received:
