The province of Canada hands out money
What explains such generosity?
The province of Saskatchewan has become a great example of economic development and concern for residents. The region has seen a significant increase in revenues due to rising resource prices.
However, due to inflation, the prices of all goods went up. The provincial government decided to help the population cope with the increased expenses, so it was decided to pay each resident of Saskatchewan $500 CAD as a one-time tax credit.
The conditions are simple: be 18 years of age or older as of December 31, 2022, and file a tax declaration. The government will then send out checks with the specified amount.
In addition to payments, the government is going to help small businesses by temporarily reducing taxes to 0%.
